Carolyn Kluender
Carolyn Kluender grew up in Minnesota and attended the College of Visual Arts in St. Paul, and has continually furthered her education. She is a natural painter who won awards for her technical and watercolor illustrations. Her designs have been popular in promotional materials, festivals, events, fundraisers, charities, campaigns against pollution, and wildfire awareness. Eventually, she returned to oil painting which had been an earlier passion, a medium, she says, creates a richness that best conveys the spirit of inspiration from the woods, water, and nature of northern Minnesota. Events she is currently involved with include the Ely Winter Festival and the Blueberry Arts Festival.
